The Marine City Police received a 911 call today that 2 white males, early 20s, one “taller” wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans with longer dark hair, and one “shorter” wearing a black t-shirt and black pajama type pants with cartoon characters on them with short blonde hair, in a dark blue mini-van of unknown make & model were seen in the area of the Little Bar placing a long gun inside the mini-van and driving off Westbound on Chartier St. towards M-29/King. The MCPD assisted by the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Border Patrol, & U.S. Customs searched the City and were unable to locate the vehicle. A County-wide police broadcast went out to all police officers in the County to Be On the Lookout. The juvenile witnesses were unable to further identify the van or the occupants. After an extensive search the mini-van was not located within the City. Additionally, the mini-van has not been observed again by law enforcement within the County. MCPD coordinated with the Marine City High School during the incident.
There was no robbery reports or additional reports of this incident in the City.
